I’m Andrew Jacobs, PharmD, founder and pharmacist-in-charge of VantorRx.
I have worked in pharmacy since 2002 and earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2013. Over the past two decades, I have led community pharmacy, compounding, long-term-care, medication-safety, and patient-access programs. Through every role, one belief has remained constant: pharmacy works best when patients genuinely know and trust their pharmacist.
I founded VantorRx to bring that relationship back.
Here, you will receive thoughtful guidance, straightforward answers, and help from someone who takes personal responsibility for solving problems—not passing them along. We provide traditional prescriptions, customized compounded medications, personalized medication support, and complimentary local delivery throughout Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and surrounding communities.
We may not always be the least expensive option. What we offer instead is accessibility, responsiveness, and a level of personal service that is increasingly difficult to find.

Our Mission: Making Pharmacy Possible Again
For far too many people, going to the pharmacy has become something to avoid.
Impersonal big-box service, insurance complications, endless waiting, poor communication, and limited access to specialized or customized medications have made pharmacy unnecessarily difficult, time-consuming, and frustrating. Too often, even when the right solution exists, its cost forces patients to choose between putting dinner on the table and getting the care they need to feel better.
VantorRx was created to change that.
We believe pharmacy should be personal, accessible, and built around solutions. Every interaction should be handled by a knowledgeable, professionally trained team whose purpose is to listen, communicate clearly, and show patients what pharmacy can—and should—feel like.
That purpose is reflected in our name. “Van” comes from advancing, while “tor,” as in director, represents guidance and leadership. Together, VantorRx represents our commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession: moving beyond the antiquated culture of volume and numbers and restoring the personal connection of the neighborhood apothecary.
Here, everyone is treated equally—with dignity, kindness, and without bias or judgment. Patients have a direct line of communication with a pharmacist who cares about the person behind the prescription, not simply the value of the profile.
